All in a Day's Work

Alice is such an industrious little girl and she always finds a way to fit countless productive activities into every day.  For one thing, she has already started exploring different professional paths.
Although she liked it over at Georgetown Prep, she found those high school boys to be so immature

She accompanied her dad to work and impressed all of his colleagues with a nuanced understanding of various computer programming languages.
Well... maybe she actually helped him play hooky by meeting us for an ice cream.  But I'm sure she would have done that stuff about the programming languages if she had made it to his office.

She's been toying with a career in journalism, so has been spending full minutes every day absorbed in the latest developments on CNN.com and WSJ.com.

Don't worry, though.  It hasn't been all business all the time for this little girl:  she's been packing her day with various hobbies as well.  For example, she has proven to be a very efficient little shopper.

Mom, you already have a black sweater just like that.  Ditch it, take the jeans, and let's get out of here so we can go home and start dinner.

She loves to squeeze in an invigorating morning power walk. In fact, she loved this particular walk so much that she positively demanded that we prolong it by pulling over for an impromptu diaper change and snuggle session.

And, to top it all off, she's even been working on her French.

Bonjour, mes amis!

As you can see, this little girl is just go, go, go all the time.

Whoops! Not sure who these photos are of! Someone must have a sleepy little baby that looks just like our Energizer Bunny!

  1. We absolutely love the French look!! Grandpa decided it was a cross between the Staypuft Marshmallow Man and the Cracker Jacks Man -- too cute for words!

  5. We can't wait to see you, Patty!
The French face is my favorite too. It looks like she has just stuffed a few cream puffs in her cheeks or else downed a big glass of wine and some cheese.
