Phoenix

We had such a wonderful visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa Denny last weekend in Phoenix.

Great Grandma and Grandpa D had thought of everything for our arrival.  

There were lots of toys for Alice to play with, borrowed from a friend of Aunt Lynn.  

 

Alice developed a rather unconventional way of mounting the horse, but it worked for her.

There were cream puffs waiting to be smeared all over the face like moisturizer.

 

The pool was heated and the perfect temperature for splashing around, and we were served meal after delicious meal. 

We spent the whole weekend enjoying each other's company. 

Hanging out.

 

Playing around.

Relaxing.

 

And catching up.

Mandy took Alice's visit in stride too.  She didn't even complain when Alice's pats got a little aggressive, nor did she protest about having all the attention directed to someone new for a weekend.

Alice even had her first bang trim.  Think it was about time?

We are so grateful we had the chance to visit!
